Screenlife Liverpool Takes LifeHack to Fantasia!

What. A. Night.

On July 29th, our Screenlife Liverpool team headed to the Fantasia Film Festival with our film LifeHack and honestly, we’re still buzzing from it!

The cinema was packed, over 600 people and they really went through the motions with us. There were big laughs, loud gasps, and those quiet emotional moments where you could feel the whole room holding its breath. When the credits rolled, the crowd gave us a huge round of applause, one of those moments you just want to bottle up forever.

Before the screening, the festival played its Fantasia intro reel, which perfectly captured what the event’s all about: creativity, heart, and celebrating the wild, wonderful world of film. Then, just before LifeHack began, our team jumped on a quick group call, full of nerves and excitement.

Our director Ronan couldn’t be there in person, but he sent a quick video message that had everyone laughing right from the start and totally won the audience over.

After the film, our amazing producer Joann Kushner took the stage for a Q&A, and the questions were brilliant. People wanted to know all about how LifeHack was made, how the Screenlife format came together, and what inspired the story. It was such a fun and thoughtful chat to wrap up the night.

Honestly, Fantasia was everything we hoped for and more the energy, the people, the love for cinema. We couldn’t have asked for a better crowd to experience LifeHack with.
